Leadership Programs

Working Women’s Group

The aim of our Working Women’s Group is to provide access to a supportive, inspiring network, and to equip those involved with the confidence, camaraderie, career development, and personal care to continue the pursuit of advancement and success.

Leadership Programs

Dress for Success Central Alberta offers long-lasting solutions that enable women to break the cycle of poverty and create economic independence.

Every woman has the right to realize her full potential and achieve financial independence. We believe that with the proper education, tools and action this world is possible.

Working Women’s Group

This small group of selected working women will be a closed cohort of individuals who are working towards their personal and professional growth. The group will meet consistently for a total of eight weeks for free developmental sessions (ex: workshops on women’s health, financial literacy, career growth, personal stylings, etc.).

Our Working Women’s Group is an inclusive group that exists to support you in your career, providing a judgement-free safe space in which to ask questions and receive support for your growth, while also networking with like-minded women and the local business community. As part of the WWG, you will gain access to a career and self-development program focused on helping to achieve, maintain, and thrive in employment alongside maintaining your personal wellbeing.

We are offering an eight-week program with 1 hour sessions per week. We are planning to deliver all sessions in person at Dress for Success Central Alberta and will be providing transportation at no cost, if required. All presentations will be done in person by local business and community leaders.

To be eligible for PWG, you must be:

• A woman or identify as a woman or non-binary

• Working, volunteering, interning at least part-time

• Available to attend all meetings, once a week on Tuesday evenings

Please note: participants may join at any career level, from any sector—all are welcome!
