Inventory Specialist/Sorters are responsible for selecting and organizing the clothing that ends up dressing our clients. Sorting volunteers will receive and sort the donations provided and categorize them based on their quality and appearance.
Specific duties include:
Previous experience: This volunteer role is a great opportunity for individuals who have an eye for detail and who love organizing. A background in fashion or retail is not necessary; ability to stand and lift moderate to heavy bags is required.
Location: In-person at the Dress for Success Central Alberta boutique (Red Deer)
Shift opportunities: 10:00am-12:00pm (Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday), 12:00-2:30pm (Thursday only)
Time commitment: One shift per month minimum, additional time is always welcome
Stylists work with clients to find the perfect outfit for an interview, new job, or special suiting. Stylists will work with clients in our space and create a positive and uplifting experience to help them feel confident and empowered. This is an incredibly powerful experience, and the impact can be seen firsthand and immediately.
Specific duties include:
Previous experience: Customer service skills and fashion acumen an asset
Location: In-person at the Dress for Success Central Alberta boutique (Red Deer)
Shift opportunities: 10:00am-12:00pm/1:00pm-3:30pm (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday), 4:30pm-6:30pm (Wednesday)
Time commitment: One shift per month minimum, additional time is always welcome
