We know that to truly empower women economically and support them as they harness their highest potential we need to invest in a continuum of pre-employment and job-retention training, mentorship, and access to professional networks and a community of support. Our priorities reflect this need and our plan for smart, strategic growth.

At Dress for Success Central Alberta, we exist to lift women into good jobs and inspire them to live up to their own unique potential. We rely on a community of committed volunteers to make this work happen. If you want to be a catalyst for change in our clients lives, we want to hear from you.

Strategic Priority #1

Programming & Community Impact

Serve 400 clients through our suiting, career services and leadership programs.
Provide education to clients focused on financial literacy
Career Hub – Create a 24/7 community that will help prepare women for that first good job, ensure a smooth transition into a new role as well as offer resources and inspiration for leadership and growth throughout their careers. The Dress for Success Career Hub will be a virtual one stop shop that will help our clients at every stage of their career journey. Transformative Resources will include:

– Career resources and accredited training programs
– Personal wellness and life education
– Mentorship opportunities
– Supportive forum

Organizational Structure

Develop community partnership and strategic program resources
Mental Health training for volunteers
Recruit and build a larger and more diverse volunteer base
Further develop Board and Governance policies and procedures

Brand & Organizational Development

Expand marketing to increase community profile and support organizational needs.
Evaluate current procedures and evaluate for efficiency operations.

Apply for grant funding as identified that meet ROI requirements
