Dress for Success Central Alberta, a local non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women to achieve economic independence, was the proud recipient of a $21,874 donation from 360 Fitness & Personal Training this past week. “At 360 Fitness, we strive to be community oriented and helping local charities supports the people that have supported us in business over the last 15 years”, shared Brooke Einarson-Schaab, Vice President of Operations and owner at 360 Fitness. “We also know that by giving back to local Red Deer residents, it in turn creates a stronger city.”
Over the past eleven years, 360 Fitness has hosted a Client Awards Gala and have chosen a charity of choice each year. This year, the staff chose Dress for Success Central Alberta to receive the funds raised at the event. “We wanted to pick a charity that was very hands on in helping local people. Knowing that our money was going to women in Red Deer that needed maybe a bit of kick start was huge to us. These women deserve a chance to really succeed and knowing we could help was an easy decision on our end”.
Dress for Success Central Alberta Executive Director Erin Forbes notes donations like this one ensures they can continue to offer a wide range of free programs to support local women striving for economic empowerment and financial independence “Dress for Success Central Alberta will help 400 local women in 2024 (a 330% increase in client service since 2022) through our leadership, career services, community outreach and dressing programs. We couldn’t serve our community without the ongoing support from local businesses like 360 Fitness.” Over the past eleven years, 360 Fitness has proudly donated $327,000 to local charities through their Client Awards gala, trainers revenge challenge and other fundraising efforts.
